501 THERMAMIT- PLAST
Fibered Thermal Insulation Board Plaster
AREAS OF UTILIZATION
• Surface plaster is used on XPS, EPS and rock wool boards on the interior and
exterior of all buildings.

 ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
• It is fiber and polymer added.
• It is easy to apply, creates smooth surfaces and provides excellent adhesion.
• Paint can be applied directly on it.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
• The insulation board should be solid, well adhered to the underlying surface,
clean and dry.
• It should be noted that the insulation board is fixed properly and firmly and that
there is no gap between the boards.

APPLICATION
• 25 kg WERIMIT THERMAMIT-PLAST (Fibered Thermal Insulation Board Plaster) is poured
on 6-6.5 liters of clean water by sprinkling.
• It is preferably combined with a low-speed mixer until there are no lumps.
• The prepared mortar is rested for 5 minutes to cure and used again after mixing for 1-2
minutes.
• WERIMIT THERMAMIT-PLAST is applied evenly with a steel trowel in 3 mm thickness as
the first coat on the entire surface.
• Before the surface of WERIMIT THERMAMIT-PLAST dries, the reinforcement mesh is
installed from top to bottom by stretching and gently pressing. Care should be taken
to avoid folding the reinforcement mesh during the application. To prevent cracks, the
reinforcement mesh should be installed with an overlap of 10 cm at the junction points.
At least 20 cm of reinforcement mesh should be used in the corners, window, and door
frames.
• When the coat of plaster starts before it dries out slightly, the mortar created with
WERIMIT THERMAMIT-PLAST is applied to the entire surface with a steel trowel in 2-3 mm
thickness equally as a second coat.
• After the drying is completed, the surface becomes suitable for other applications to be
made on it.

SHELF LIFE
• Shelf life is 12 months when stored in its unopened original package in a way that is not
exposed to moisture, dry and direct sunlight, provided that it is placed in a maximum of
8 rows on top of each other.
